This is a real life saver of a recipe! So many of our clients can only commit a limited time to the kitchen each night (15 minutes or less) so it’s our job to teach them how to get the most from their meals. This tomato sauce takes just seconds to prepare but can save you hours over the course of a week. We encourage everyone to make this in bulk on a Sunday night as it takes minimal prep and can be used to create hundreds of different meals that are all rapid to cook. These include favourites like, Pizza, Meatballs, Sicilian Chicken, Chlli, Pasta etc. If you’re pushed for time this recipe is a must!!
This recipe uses 2 tins of chopped tomatoes but you can use more or less depending on how much you want to use. It’s perfect for keeping in the fridge or freezer for those mid week emergencies.
Combine all the ingredients in an oven proof dish and give them a good stir. This literally takes seconds. Then place in a hot oven and leave until its thickened. This can take between 30 – 60 minutes but apart from the odd stir you can just leave it to get delicious. Once its made you can decant it in to tubs ready for the fridge or freezer.
